INVITATION EQUINOR NC PARA – FIS PARA NORDIC

 LYGNA SKISENTER 5TH -7TH JANUARY 2024

💥Competition Venue Information
The stadium is located,620 meters above sea-level,
Ca 80 km from Oslo drive and 40 km from Gjøvik along RV4.
Exit approx. 1 km north of Lygnasæter Hotel, on the lefthand side arriving from Oslo, right hand arriving from Gjøvik
👉 There is wardrobe and shower possibilities at Skistua at the arena
👉 Simple Cafe where you can buy soemthing to eat.

💥Local Transport
We recommend having a rental car during the competition period.

💥Accommodation and food
You will have to arrange food and accommodation on your own. Contact the hotels and make your own accommodation bookings. Here are some of our recommendations.

👉 During the competition period there will be an own WhatsApp group for the para event. Link to this will be posted here when it’s ready.

👉 Test for fluor will be carried out, so make sure that you have done the right thing for cleaning all your skis for flour.

Entries will be made by Isonen for Norwegian athletes.
Entries for foreigner’s need to be done by e-mail; Anne.Kroken@skiforbundet.no
Payment for entry fee/rental fee for timing chips will be organized on site at the race office. 
Deadline for entries: 1st January 2024

💥Race office is open; 
Friday 5th January; 1 pm - 3 pm (13:00-15:00)
Saturday 6th January 8:30 am – 4 pm
Sunday 7th January 7:30 am – event end

 
👉 Entry fee and rental fee for timer chip can be paid here
Entry fee: 170 Nok pr race
Rental fee for timer chip: 100 NOK pr race. 

💥TCM
Friday 6th  6 pm - At the stadium or on Teams

💥 Wax Cabins/Wax place
👉 Deadline for ordering waxplace at Venue, (ca 12m2 inside a big hall)
     is 10th December; price  9000 NOK, after this date 12.000 NOK pr place
     Prices includes parking for 1 car pr waxplace.

💥Parking   
There will be some reserved places near the startarea for the Para athletes. Cars with sitting athletes will have the priority. 
Parking tickets is 100NOK pr day or 200 both days

UPDATED COMPETITION SCHEDULE 3/1 12:15

                           
👉 Saturday 6th Jan: Sprint Free
This will be organized a bit different than in WC. 
All sitting is competing in the same finals, and all standing/VI in the same finals. Of course, there will be separated result lists for all categories; sitting, standing and VI, women and men.
11:00 Qualification Para
12:35 Finals Para 

👉 Sunday 7th Jan Free Technique mass start
08:35 Para sitting, men and women 5 km
09:45 Para standing/VI men and women 15 km (junior) /20 (senior) km Free
          Starts last in the women abled-bodied startfield

👉Training times/”open stadium”
Thursday 4th January: 
courses open for training all-day
Friday 5th January: 1 pm – 5pm (Official training)
Saturday 6th January: after competition are finished till 8 pm


💥 Prize ceremonies will take place at the stadium after the official results are ready each day. 
All athletes will receive a participant’s prize, pick this up at the Race Office.

💥 Participant Insurance
With the issuance of a license to participate in FIS competitions and entry, the National Ski Association confirms that valid and sufficient accident insurance for training and competition is in place for the competitor and assumes full responsibility.
