The award ceremony at Steinkjer Town Hall starts at 13:00 CET. Athletes and support staff who are going there from Best Western Tingvold Park Hotel or the house near Steinkjer Ski Stadium will be picked up at these locations at 12:30 CET. After the award ceremony, you will be driven back to your respective places. Those staying at Quality Grand Hotel Steinkjer can cross the street to the building next door to be in Steinkjer Town Hall.

It is possible to watch the FIS World Ski Championships - Women's Skiathlon after the award ceremony, but if you need transport to your hotel, this will not be an option, unfortunately.

Today's Individual 5 km - Classic is canceled due to weather and water conditions at Steinkjer Skistadion. More information to follow.

Important points from today's TCM for Individual 5 km - Classic:

  • Adjustments to the schedule for Standing and VI classes. New start times are 11:15 for Standing and 12:30 CET for VI. Sit-ski starts as planned.
  • See the distributed information about ski testing and warm-up.
  • Adhere to the timing information from LOC regarding the opening and closing of the courses.
  • Keep to the right in the ski test area.
  • Start numbers are collected as on Friday and Saturday. The transponder comes with the start number.
  • Technique zone for VI on the opposite side of Steinkjer Ski Stadium.
  • The courses will be salted in curves after/downhill. The start area and finish will also be salted.
  • Skis are delivered to the fluor tent before the start (not sit-ski), to be taken to the start by the athlete/support team themselves.
  • All athletes deliver skis for fluor testing after the finish.
  • Award ceremonies for sit-ski, standing, and VI immediately after the last finish of the day.
  • Award ceremony for FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup 2024/2025 overall will be held after this.
  • All winners will be interviewed by FIS at the award ceremony.
  • Nations transporting equipment with official transport to the FIS World Ski Championship 2025 - Trondheim, deliver this at Steinkjer Skistadion after the award ceremony tomorrow.
  • Nations that need to pay by card to Steinkjer Skiklubb according to the payment information sent out earlier must ensure this is done before leaving Steinkjer Skistadion. Contact the race office during the day.

Important points from today's TCM for Srint - Free:

  • Start numbers can be picked up at the race office, and the transponder is attached to the bib. Use the same bib and transponder throughout the day. It should be returned immediately when the athlete is out of the competition.
  • See the distributed information about ski testing and warm-up.
  • Adhere to the timing information from LOC regarding the opening and closing of the tracks.
  • Keep to the right in the ski testing area on the track.
  • Be on time for the starts. 
  • Fluortest after finish in both qualification and finals. Pick up skies after qualification testing outside fluorine tent. Athletes who qualify from the semifinal to the final will pick up their skis in start area. Athletes who miss the final can pick up their outside the fluorine tent.
  • Award ceremony for sit-ski, standing, and VI right after the finals.

  • Start numbers can be picked up at the race office, and the transponder is attached to the start number.

  • Keep to the right in the ski testing area on the track.
  • Deliver skis for fluorine control at least 15 minutes before the start. The skis must be marked.
  • Bring the skis yourself or support team to the start 10 minutes before the start.
  • Sit-ski only delivers skis after the competition.
  • Standing & VI also deliver skis after the competitions.
  • All skis can be found outside the fluorine tent after a few minutes. The athlete or support team retrieves the skis themselves outside the tent.
  • Award ceremony for sit-ski, standing, and VI right after the last athlete finish for the day.

The courses for official training will be groomed at 23:00 CET tonight.
The LOC will assess the conditions early in the morning, and if it is icy, the tracks will be groomed again.

We ask everyone to only use skis on the snow at Steinkjer Skistadion. This is to ensure the best possible conditions throughout all competition days.

Official Training - FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup Final 2025 - Steinkjer

  • Thursday, February 27, 2025 (CET): 10:00 - 13:00
  • Friday, February 28, 2025 (CET): 13:30 - 15:30
  • Saturday, March 1, 2025 (CET): 14:30 - 16:30

The LOC requests that all nations adhere to these training times. Due to snow and weather conditions at Steinkjer Skistadion, no courses will be prepared today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday).

LOC is continuously working to create the best possible conditions for the competitions on all days.

Almost all nations have now received their payment information for Race Entry Fee, Wax Cabin, Transport, Transport (local), and Transport Equipment, which should be paid to LOC - Steinkjer Skiklubb. Please follow the instructions in the email sent to the contact persons for the nations.

Due to the snow conditions at Steinkjer Skistadion, it has been decided that the tracks for the event will be changed to:

  • 800 m (Sprint Sit-ski)
  • 1 km (Sprint Standing & VI)
  • 1.6 km (10 km and 5 km, Sit-ski)
  • 2.1 km (10 km and 5 km, Standing & VI)

In collaboration with FIS and the Norwegian Ski Federation, Steinkjer Skiklubb is pleased to announce that the World Cup Final for the FIS Para Cross-Country World Cup 2025 will be held in Steinkjer. This means that the already planned World Cup weekend will be extended with an additional race, and will take place from February 28 to March 2.

LOC warmly welcomes everyone to Steinkjer for the conclusion of the World Cup season, just before the World Ski Championships 2025 in Trondheim.

More information about the event will be provided in the coming days.
